Words are wonderful...

From time to time I enjoy writing. That writing comes in the form of sermons, studies, and daily devotionals. The menu to the right will give you the chance to select a category and browse the articles available here. Feel free to use anything you read, however I would appreciate appropriate credit, be it verbal or written.

My most recent thought...

OK, you're going to think this is a real stretch, but

God works in the truck. By that I mean I was driving a tow truck the other day (I do that on the weekends) and I got a call for a lock out. I'm not very good at lock outs so I said "God, please let this be easy." I got there and had the car open in 20 seconds. I thanked God and rolled on. Two days later I got another call for a lock out and said the same thing. When I got there the guy had flagged down a driver from another company in the parking lot. He'd been working on the car for 15 minutes with no luck.

So, I lost the job and the money, but God made it easy! I had two similar circumstances, prayed the same thing twice, and had two distinctive outcomes. That's why God is God and I'm not. He understands things and does things that are far beyond me. And that's makes me so very glad that He's in charge... and not me.
